Bowie’s Personality: Until now, Bowie’s world was quiet, dark, and close to his mother’s side. But now, his bright eyes open wide to catch the shifting shadows, and his ears perk up at the sound of your voice. He is a little explorer finding his footing, taking brave, wobbly steps across the floor like a tiny sailor on a rolling sea. Every texture—the softness of a blanket, the cool touch of a tile—is a brand-new lyric in his song.
At five weeks, the star in Bowie begins to shine. He discovers his voice, offering sweet, breathy growls and high-pitched yips that surprise even himself. He is learning the art of the pounce, tumbling over his paws with clumsy grace. Tasting the world with gentle, needle-sharp puppy bites as he figures out where he ends and the rest of the world begins. At six weeks to eight weeks he’s full of adventure, running, playing and exploring the world.
